environmental education:
know in order to value

Environmental education is one of the pillars on which the work of Reserva El Potrero is based. Because we understand that beyond the protection of our natural environments and the species that live in them, there is no future in conservation if we do not transmit knowledge, empathy and love for wildlife to present and future generations.

Conservation cannot just be an inside job. Sharing knowledge and spreading planet-friendly practices must go hand in hand with other efforts. For this reason, in our La Victoria Visitor Centre we carry out activities to promote learning through experience and contact with nature, giving value to the landscape of Entre Ríos.

school visits

El Potrero Reserve runs a programme of visits with special emphasis on educational institutions of all levels.
We try to make these encounters much more than just a day out in nature for the students. For this reason, any prior preparation made by the teachers is of interest in order to make the most of the experience.

what does the visit consist of ?

The visit is divided into two parts: an introductory talk with the projection of images or a video about the most important projects of our Reserve and an interpretative walk along the paths of La Victoria.

open visits

Although El Potrero Reserve is not a tourist project, the visits open to the public are also a tool to show the richness of our natural environments and to raise awareness in the community about the importance of preserving them.

Through knowledge, observation and the exchange of experiences, we aspire to build a more loving view of nature and wildlife.
